Become a Shipper or Request a New Connection

We welcome interested parties wishing to become a shipper or requesting a new connection to one of our pipelines. All connection requests will be subject to design requirements necessary to protect the safety, integrity and efficient operation of the pipeline system according to the specifications of Empire, and all federal, state and local rules and regulations. The acceptance of a request by Empire for a new connection will be subject to compliance with all governmental rules and regulations. The following documents will be needed from your company to begin the process:

• A letter requesting to become a shipper or to request a new connection.

• An acknowledgement letter from the Terminal Operator agreeing to receive the crude oil.
